I know this is difficult – Being shy as you are

But for the last 60 years – You both have come far

So this honor we give – From the family you’ve grown

Starting with Ron and Bob – Who couldn’t do it alone!!

We can’t forget Jan and Lynn – Our very lovely wives

Or Grandson Kevin and wife Jamie – Who are listed in the archives

Great Grandson Trevor – The Raade name he’ll carry on

You two started this wonderful group – Who will be here after you’re gone!!

Granddaughter Kim and husband John – Ryan and Jacob their wonderful boys

You taught us the importance of the church – And with it, its many joys

Bob enjoys working in his yard – And playing a little golf

And when keeping order in the house – Martie has been known to be tough!!

We know many of your friends – Are smiling down from up above

Wishing they could be here – To share this joy and wonderful love

So Martie and Bob – It was important that you knew

How much we appreciate – All the things that you do!!

So we raise our glasses – For “60” wonderful years

To two wonderful people – Whom we all hold quite dear

Six wonderful children – Who have filled up our life

With 12 grandkids – Your life is active and fast

You play tennis with Kathy – Your love of Opera is unsurpassed

You hate Country Music – But love the Rolling Stones

You think the Pacific is polluted – While always losing your cell phone!!

You like to visit the dentist – And chocolate is your friend

Should you get any kind of itch – You scratch and claw it to the end

You love Perrier water – Drinking volumes throughout the day

Your new hair style looks great – What else can I say!!

Condominium living you enjoy – Being an artist through and through

 The Toulouse-Lautrec show inChicago– Is true joy for you

You have your own studio – As any artist should

You enjoy Paul Davis and Tony Smith – You think they’re pretty good!!

To say you’re multifaceted – Is an understatement indeed

You’re kind, shy and discreet – And truly a very rare breed

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!!

You’ve made it 35 years – And it’s really been quite the ride

The two of you are so opposite – Much like Jekyll & Hyde

You met at MSU – Where you also met your group

The ten of you are so close – You’d be better described as a troupe!!

Mom, you’ve got enough pictures – Of fat, naked people around

Trade some for cooking lessons – Sarcastic we’re not trying to sound

Setting the microwave on fire – Really while trying to pop some corn

Or sitting by your swimming pool – Unable to swim and looking forlorn!!

Dad, pills should be taken as directed – Not when you get the urge

Bleach is not an all purpose cleaner – And boats are suppose to be submerged

Has it ever occurred to you – That a good image is not so bad

Your apartment manager does – Look at his car, we might add!!

Dad, you’re a successful slum lord – A workaholic who’s done quite well

Mom’s a special needs teacher – Who has many bizarre stories to tell

You both have a great sense of humor – And dad has three ugly sisters to boot

Since they’re never ever mentioned – We thought it might be cute!!

Mom, you know you’re sometimes outspoken – And do some really bizarre shit

And when you’re telling a story – You constantly nudge and hit

Dad, you’d love to retire – And get out of that CPA stuff

But your clients won’t allow it – Even though you’ve had enough!!

But good things happen to bad cooks – You eat out 5 days a week

And the four of us are happy – We enjoy each other, which is unique

So happy anniversary – To a great mom and dad

We’ve always felt quite lucky – To have special parents like you

You’re kind, generous and modest – In all of the good things you do

You love each other deeply – Two great role models indeed

Maybe it is the separate bathrooms – To dad, we’ll have to concede!!

You keep yourselves quite busy – With the theatre and dining out

Museums, entertaining and grandkids – Is keeping you young, no doubt

You met at Camp Diana Dalmaqua – And still are each others best friend

You both are hard to keep up with – And all the energy you expend!!

You are difficult to drive with – Mom, you over direct dad in the car

You don’t drink coffee, alcohol or soda – Making you as energetic as you are

Dad loves to go golfing – And power shopping to no end

While he also loves collecting Quimper – And traveling with his best friend!!

Mom loves helping others – And playing a game or two of mah jong

Cooking chicken soup and matzo balls – Which keeps everybody strong

Hailey, Max, Brice and Austin – Are the grandkids you hold dear

Always looking forward to the visits – To Florida we make each year!!

Family is very important – And we love you both a lot

Independent to a fault – With a libido some would call hot

At Alexis’ 21^st birthday party – You and Maria arrived late

There were jokes about why – The marks on Maria’s neck left nothing to debate!!

There was that time in college – You came home without telling a soul

Mom and dad were out of town – Linda and I were on patrol

While checking on the folk’s house – We saw two nude people in the bathroom

Apparently just out of the shower – What you were doing, I won’t presume!!

Remember the trip from New Mexico – Where you hit a bump in the road

But just kept on driving – With a coyotes head in your grill, ready to explode

Or when the state trooper tried to stop you – It took a half hour for him to pursue

And the judge saw you smirking – An afternoon in jail he gave to you!!

Your life has no urgency – When it comes to being on time

Except for the time “Leaping Lupe” – Almost turned into road slime

It’s hard to believe you were late – Even on your own wedding day

Maria and the Mariachi were waiting – I’m laughing, but what can I say!!

You do like adventure – A couple of times you’ve run with the bulls

You have the ability to be moody – With a mind that’s masterful

And when you tell a story – You just keep rambling on

Frank, people have lives to lead – Take the hint when they start to yawn!!
